Created in 2003, Knua Buka Hatene (KBH) Expressional Arts Project (EAP), uses the medium of theatre to develop & deliver community educational strategies that tackle issues affecting the community of Timor-Leste.
Theatre skills include: mask, physical theatre, script writing, design, music, radio dramas, devised performance, improvisation, voice, public speaking & dance.
OBJECTIVES:
- The Expressional Arts Project (EAP) is focused on delivering high quality messages to people in our community especially those who are difficult to reach (e.g. remote & rural populations, illiterate)
- We believe that theatre, radio & art are the best ways to engage with people and create a conversation about the issues that are important for the future of Timor-Leste
- We value the voice of youth & ensure that they are the central driving force behind all the work we create
